The Suzdal Cucumber Festival

The first cucumbers were cultivated in the Suzdal area, around 500 years ago, 

The Suzdal Cucumber Festival takes place every year, in the month of July, during the vegetable harvest. During this event tourists will learn everything there is to know about cucumbers, from hot to grow them to the many different varieties.

This year, the Suzdal Cucumber Festival took place on July 24.
